I am: an optimist, a salon owner/stylist, an aspiring children's book author, a tortoise and bunny mom, a volunteer, a proud redhead, creative and open minded…

My love of art, fashion and beauty came together when I started my career as a hairstylist in 1999. I have continued to grow and evolve within the industry ever since. As a stylist I’ve received advanced training in London, Toronto, and throughout the US. Vidal Sassoon academies and salons have deeply impacted my style and love for precision haircuts, which can be seen in this scholarship winning video.

Amazing mentors have also contributed greatly to my education, most notably I spent five years assisting and working beside top hair stylist Charlie Price. This opened me up to the world of editorial work, photo shoots and runway shows. I love being on set and now book jobs with commercial clients like Southwest Airlines, while my more avant garde work has earned me two Colorado hairstylist of the year nominations. Wardrobe styling is another passion and it grew while spending five years as the fashion editor for Rocky Mountain Bride magazine.

The StoryBrick is my latest venture and I’m excited to open this chapter. It is a place where stories of art, fashion, style, photography and all things positive unfold. I designed the space with a lot of love and great attention to detail. I hope you enjoy it and share your story with us!
